PostgreSQL Data Compare

About PostgreSQL Data Compare

Compare PostgreSQL tables and records between source and destination databases using a local read-only connector on your private network.

How to use this tool

Run System Tips with npm run local and open the local PostgreSQL comparison page. Enter the source and target server, port, database, schema, user ID, and password; connect to load table metadata; select matching tables and identity columns; then compare.

What to know

The local companion runs read-only PostgreSQL transactions, accepts only loopback/private-network hosts, and caps rows per table and run. Results and credentials stay in the current page session and are not added to activity history or analytics. Use an account with read-only permissions and keep the local service bound to loopback.
